Our vision at shindig! simple – we want to help you achieve your styling vision for your big day with our wedding decor, prop hire and wedding florals.

We pride ourselves on developing a clear understanding of your vision and then enabling you to achieve just that –  whatever your budget.  Our range of props is huge and we’re adding to them all the time.  This enables us to transform all sorts of venues – from stately homes to barns to manor houses to tipis and marquees.

why hire a stylist?

There’s a whole host of reasons to hire a venue stylist when planning your wedding.

First, let’s face it, Instagram and Pinterest are great for providing inspo,  but all that social media can be a little overwhelming when trying to make some real decisions.  That’s where we come in early on to help you clearly define your vision and achieve the look you’re after.

Secondly, to style a venue it takes a LOT of props and therefore a LOT of cash.  When we started out we wanted to help DIY brides achieve the look they wanted for around half the price of buying everything. (Or, you could look at it another way – get twice the amount for your money) .  We hear brides say all the time ‘I was going to do it myself and then I realised how much it was going to add up – and what on earth would I do with it all afterwards!?’ . Exactly.  Why buy when you can rent?

Third, dressing a venue ain’t all that glamorous a job.  The exciting part of wedding styling is the design, the creative bit, picking all the props, playing around with colour schemes (whilst enjoying a glass of prosecco or just a good cuppa).  Setting up is just blood, sweat and tears (let alone taking it all down again after the Big Day, which is a  bit like taking your Christmas tree down, but worse).  So leave the donkey work to someone else, whilst you do what all brides should do the day before their wedding – chill, pamper, chat, and relax!
